Honey Lime Glazed Salmon with Mango Salsa


Savor the taste of summer with this succulent Honey Lime Glazed Salmon, perfectly complemented by a tangy Mango Salsa. The tender salmon fillets are coated in a sweet and citrusy glaze, then grilled or baked to perfection. Topped with a vibrant salsa made with ripe mangoes, crisp red onions, and fragrant cilantro, this dish is a celebration of seasonal flavors.


Ingredients:


4 salmon fillets

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon soy sauce

Salt and pepper to taste

1 ripe mango, diced

1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

1 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions:


Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lime juice, and soy sauce to make the glaze.


Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then brush both sides generously with the honey lime glaze.


If grilling, place the salmon fillets on the grill skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork. 

If baking, place the salmon on a lined baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until cooked through.


While the salmon is cooking, prepare the mango salsa by combining diced mango, red onion, cilantro, and lime juice in a bowl. Toss gently to combine.


Serve the grilled or baked salmon hot, topped with the refreshing mango salsa. Enjoy with your favorite side dishes like rice or roasted vegetables.
