Clara is a food historian, author, and experienced speaker who brings a fresh perspective to the way we think about food, health, and history.
She’s the author/co-author of seven books, including The Boston Chef’s Table and The New England Soup Factory Cookbook, which showcase nourishing, seasonal recipes and the vibrant culinary culture of New England.
With a master’s degree in history and a deep passion for lifelong learning, Clara has led popular programs at the National Archives, the Boston Flower and Garden Show, and the New England Historic Genealogical Society.
Her work connects food traditions with modern-day wellness—perfectly aligning with our mission to support health through socialization, nutrition, and learning.
Later this year, the second edition of The Boston Chef’s Table will be released by Globe Pequot Press.
