All you need is some tomato paste and water to make a pretty decent sauce.
Ingredients
Olive oil
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 can tomato paste
1 cup cooked pasta water
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
Splash red wine (optional)
Cooked pasta for serving
Fresh parsley
Cook pasta and reserve 1 cup of pasta water. Sauté garlic in olive oil for 30 seconds, add red wine and cook another 15 seconds. Stir in tomato paste, pasta water, and Italian seasonings. Bring to boil, then simmer on low for 10 minutes. Toss with cooked pasta.
